Advanced Construction for Optimal Performance
The Silver Series products stand out due to their innovative construction. Through the precise application of thin layers of precious metals onto the film, these window films reflect heat instead of absorbing it.
This distinctive feature results in heightened heat rejection capabilities, allowing for improved indoor comfort. Whether you’re facing scorching summer temperatures or a frigid New York winter, the Silver Series is designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable environment within your living or working space.
Unparalleled Privacy with Enhanced Aesthetics
Silver Series Window Film doesn’t just excel in performance – it also elevates the aesthetic appeal of your building. The reflective nature of the film enhances privacy for occupants without compromising the exterior’s visual appeal.
Experience the freedom to enjoy your space without the intrusion of prying eyes, all while adding a touch of sophistication to the building’s façade. This dual benefit makes the Silver Series an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications.

Performance Notes:
- Performance results are calculated using NFRC methodology and LBNL Window software, applied to 1/4″ (6mm) clear glass and are subject to variations within industry standards and only intended for estimating purposes. This data is provided for informational purposes only and subject to normal manufacturing variances.
- Performance results for glare and fade reduction are calculated by comparing filmed glass to that of untreated glazing.

Can Silver Series film be applied to the exterior of windows?
Silver Series is designed for interior application. For buildings where interior access is restricted or impractical, we offer exterior-grade solar films from the same manufacturer lineup. During the on-site estimate, we assess glass type and access conditions to recommend the right application method.
Is Silver Series film suitable for dual-pane (insulated) glass?
Not all grades are compatible with every glass type. Films with low solar heat gain coefficients (like Silver 20 at .23) absorb and reflect significant energy, which can cause thermal stress on sealed insulated units. We check glass manufacturer specs before recommending a grade to avoid seal failure or glass cracking.
Does my NYC co-op or condo board need to approve window film installation?
Most co-op and condo boards require prior approval for any window modifications that change the building’s exterior appearance. Reflective films like Silver 20 and Grey/Silver/Grey 10 are visible from outside. We provide spec sheets and film samples for board review and can attend board meetings if needed.
How long does installation take for a typical NYC apartment?
A standard apartment (10–15 windows) typically takes one day. Larger commercial projects are scheduled in phases. We coordinate freight elevator access, building work hours, and COI documentation with building management before the start date.
How do I maintain Silver Series film after installation?
Wait 30 days after installation before cleaning. Then use a soft cloth or rubber squeegee with a mild soap-and-water solution. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners (like Windex), abrasive pads, or razor blades — they damage the film’s metallic coating.
Can Silver Series film be removed without damaging the glass?
Yes. Professional removal leaves glass intact. We use steam and adhesive solvents to separate the film cleanly. If you’re replacing old film with a new grade, removal and re-installation can often be done in the same visit.
