3. Services Overview

Total Window Service provides the following professional services:

Residential and commercial window cleaning, including high-rise rope-access work
Window film installation (solar control, safety, privacy, anti-graffiti, insulation)
Glass restoration, including scratch removal and acid-etch graffiti repair
Facade cleaning and power washing
Window caulking and insulation

All services are performed by trained technicians. Rope-access work is carried out by IRATA- and SPRAT-certified personnel under NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) supervision.

4. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates may be provided on-site or remotely based on photographs, measurements, and project scope.
A written quote is typically delivered within 24–72 hours of the assessment, depending on project complexity.
Quotes are valid for the period stated in the proposal. If no period is stated, the quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
Prices are subject to change based on site conditions discovered after the initial assessment.

5. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% of the quoted amount is required before work is scheduled.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work or within 30 days for commercial accounts, as specified in the project agreement.
Accepted payment methods are outlined in the project proposal or invoice.

6. Warranties

Warranty coverage varies by service type:

Window Cleaning: No warranty is offered on cleaning services.
Window Film Installation: Manufacturer warranties range from 3 to 16 years depending on the product, with some products carrying a Limited Lifetime warranty. Warranty terms are specified in the project proposal and are subject to manufacturer conditions.
Glass Restoration: No warranty is offered against re-hazing or future surface damage following restoration work.

7. Insurance

Total Window Service maintains the following active insurance coverage:

General Liability: $10,000,000
Umbrella Policy: $5,000,000
Workers’ Compensation: Active
Disability Insurance: Active
Pollution Liability: Included

A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available upon request for any project.

8. Scheduling and Cancellations

Work is scheduled based on mutual availability and, where applicable, weather conditions. Rope-access and exterior work is not performed when wind speeds exceed 30 mph.
Cancellation and rescheduling policies are specified in the project agreement.
